Hi Shane,I don’t know what to say apart from amazing!!! The whole day you were with us your work was brilliant, the way you worked with the people in the different places was brilliant. The different pictures you took were brilliant too, when we've been showing people the photo's they can't believe it, every two minutes you hear them say ‘when did he get that? How did he get that picture? Oh my gosh, that picture’s so nice, it looks so natural!!’ Then I'm having people falling in love with the black & white pictures AS WELL as the extras you did!!I've had so many people saying what a lovely gentleman you are. To be honest I've also had people that weren't at the wedding and haven't seen the pictures for themselves asking who my photographer was as they've heard how amazing the pictures were and what an amazing preview book you did, oh a lot of people also keep saying they have never seen anything like that before and how beautiful it was. Our wedding took place this April in Cuba. We were slightly worried about the results of the photo’s from the local’s in Cuba. We invited Shane to take some pictures. The result was absolutely amazing; we have come away with magical memories of our wedding day, without any intrusion to the ceremony. Some of the shots that we were asked to pose for I was a little unsure as I am quite shy when it comes to having pictures done... but as a professional Shane was right and the images again were superb.... Trust in Shane to take stunning photo’s that you will look at time and time again.Shane took some of the most magical photos of us in Cuba keeping the day so memorable...Thank you so much.
We commissioned Shane to document a project where a rock band performed with around 50 young brass musicians from the Gloucestershire Youth Brass Band. The photographs he took were brilliant and demonstrate not just his skill as a photographer, but his artistic sensitivity to and understanding of the subject matter. Shane’s photographs of the Guildhall made the rooms look so good we find ourselves appreciating the building more. We hired Youngs Photography for our wedding and it was the best decision we made! Shane, Nicky and Ken went above and beyond expectations creating incredibly beautiful detailed shots to capture the day. Their manner was fantastic and instead of feeling as though we all had to "line up and smile" it felt more like an old friend taking the photos. They were all very calm, friendly and relaxed. Nicky did a fantastic job of arranging the shots and assisting the photographers but stretched to babysitter, hairdresser and comedian when needed!!! Their way of working was very unobtrusive and everybody felt comfortable in their presence making for some amazing photos!! I can't recommend them highly enough and we will be booking them for every occasion in the future!
Youngs Photography took the photographs at my daughter's wedding last August. On the day the team were very professional, well organised and friendly but unobtrusive both at the church and the reception venue. The resulting photos, a mix of full colour and monochrome prints, were of a very high quality both in the quality of the finish and in the artistic style. I have an album to treasure for many years to come. I would recommend 'Youngs Photography' to anyone planning their wedding.
After waiting many years to get our family photos done, and the arrival of our fourth grandchild, Shane came to our salon for a haircut one day and left his business card, which I took home and showed my husband. We decided at long last we should have the job done. Shane was so understanding because we were moving house and kept changing our dates, but we finally managed to get all the family together. We particularly wanted photos outside the house we were due to leave as it is such a beautiful setting with willow trees and a stream. The day was fantastic and so was Shane’s work. Hence we are now broke (joke!) as we wanted all the photos and I’m sure anyone else using Shane for any occasion would feel the same as us and want to purchase every picture possible!As I work in the salon I am recommending Youngs Photography and handing out Shane’s cards whenever I can.Eileen and Tony W

What an amazing service. Within the space of literally a few days, I have the most gorgeous set of prints of my 2 children and me, and am still stunned by the professionalism and speed with which you delivered the complete package. I can't wait to show them to friends and family and will recommend you with no hesitation. The shots are exactly what I wanted: completely natural, as far from a stiff studio portrait as you can get, but most of all they capture the essence of my children's individual personalities and reflect so much love, warmth and fun that they make me smile every time I look at them. It was lovely to get out there among the autumn colours and you quickly spotted a number of really photogenic spots in the park, which gave the photos a beautiful backdrop as well. Thank you so much.
Shane came to our home to do our photo shoot. This was so ideal as we were able to relax in the comfort of our own home and had endless 'props' to hand especially for my two boys. This made our photographs even more personal to us as a family. Shane is extremely gifted and his eye for detail in getting the correct shot is brilliant. I have already recommended Blue Sun Photography to other people, and will be using them again. It was a great experience which we all enjoyed, and even better is the whole package including the prints were definitely value for money.
