The Wharf House Testimonials

The Wharf House was recommended to my partner and I a while ago, so, it was our first choice when it came to arranging my birthday celebrations.

On arrival we were met by the most courteous of staff and we're seated immediately with drinks following shortly afterwards. I must say; the wine selection is one of the best I've seen in the County. This is particularly impressive as I work for the local newspaper and have sampled a few different menus.

All 7 of us ordered starters, all of which arrived promptly and were enjoyed not only by myself, but the whole table. Our main courses were even better with melt in the mouth meats and perfectly cooked vegetables! I had no room for dessert but a couple of the men ordered them and of course I sampled them all!!

I was even pleasantly surprised when the bill arrived. With excellent food and service to match, I assumed we'd be paying the price. In actual fact it came to less than expected so we stuck around for a while and continued to enjoy the wine!

I would recommend this restaurant to any one and am looking forward to going back when the weather is a little better to try the much talked about Tapas on the terrace!
