Situated in a perfect riverside location, The Wharf House near Gloucester offers a seasonal menu, using the freshest local ingredients. The Wharf House menu is constantly updated & the restaurant has an exceptional wine list to accompany your choice of food.

- Lunch - 12pm - 3.00 pm
- Afternoon Tea Rooms - 3.00 pm - 4.00 pm
- Evening Restaurant - 6.30 pm onwards (last food orders 9.00 pm) Booking is advisable!

The area around The Wharf House is excellent for walking and the Visitor Centre provides a great insight into the 750 year history of this fascinating area as well as promoting work by local artists and crafts people. All profits made by The Wharf House are used for the promotion and restoration of the Herefordshire and Gloucestershire Canal.

Stunning location, friendly and amazing food.
The Wharf House was recommended to my partner and I a while ago, so, it was our first choice when it came to arranging my birthday celebrations. On arrival we were met by the most courteous of staff and we're seated immediately with drinks following shortly afterwards. I must say; the wine selection is one of the best I've seen in the County. This is particularly impressive as I work for the local newspaper and have sampled a few different menus. All 7 of us ordered starters, all of which arrived promptly and were enjoyed not only by myself, but the whole table. Our main courses were even better with melt in the mouth meats and perfectly cooked vegetables! I had no room for dessert but a couple of the men ordered them and of course I sampled them all!! I was even pleasantly surprised when the bill arrived. With excellent food and service to match, I assumed we'd be paying the price. In actual fact it came to less than expected so we stuck around for a while and continued to enjoy the wine! I would recommend this restaurant to any one and am looking forward to going back when the weather is a little better to try the much talked about Tapas on the terrace!
