Belynda who looks after our account creates a policy to suit our individual insurance needs, so we are covered for what we need and not paying for cover we don't!!! From James' on-site visit to us a couple of days after the flood, when the water was still feet deep in the house, through the immediate arranging of the cleaning firm who were on site 2 weeks later, appointment of a very competent and experienced Loss Adjuster, who was on site within a week, a mobile home purchased and on site by 7th August, and the rapid approval to proceed with a builder of our choice, has made what could have been a very traumatic time turn out to be challenging and sometimes stressful, but always manageable and positively moving forward.
Your team always dealt with our questions and concerns with understanding and acted effectively.
Payments to ourselves and our builder have been prompt, and enabled the process of rebuilding our home to proceed at a pace that we did not expect, enabling us to have our family here for Christmas, a real bonus! What we feared would be a 12 months project turned out to be 6 months.
When we hear other flood victim's stories it makes us appreciate all the more what the NFU Mutual team achieved for us.. And we have been enthusiastically promoting NFU Mutual to anyone who will listen!
