We attended The Best of Gloucester Christmas Party night at the Whitminster Inn, in their new marquee. We had a fantastic night. The food was amazing and the staff looked after us really well. We stayed overnight in the inn which was very comfortable and we enjoyed a very tasty breakfast in the morning. Highly recommended. BH

How lucky we are...not just one but two outstanding chinese restaurants on our doorstep - and both under the same ownership! The China Garden is fantastic with a deliciously appetising menu and the friendliest service you can imagine. We are always made to feel so welcome and spoiled for choice when it comes to selecting the mouth-watering delights on offer. I think we will be coming back for many years before we work our way though all our favourites! Great food, excellent service, superb value - no hesitation in recommending this restaurant to everyone.

The China Garden is great! The food is delicious and the service from the staff is fabulous - nothing is too much trouble. The restaurant is relaxing and comfortable and would suit a romantic meal for two or equally a group of friends and family! I would completely recommend The China Garden as each time we have dined there, we have never been disappointed. Fantastic!

Due to the closure of The White Horse, due to flooding, we visited The China Garden which is owned by the same people and we were not disappointed. The surroundings, service and food were all excellent and well worth a visit.
