In seeking a specialist bathroom fitting company I was prompted to pay a visit to Bikini Bathrooms by the strength of the testimonials on the ‘bestofgloucester’ website. The comprehensive displays of bathroom layouts and associated fittings in their Gloucester showroom, coupled with the willingness on the part of the staff to offer sound professional advice, made the process of determining a potential bathroom layout so much easier than it might otherwise have been. Moreover, though we spent a long time looking around on our initial visit, and were accompanied by a member of staff for most of that period, we never felt pressured to make decisions and realized that this family-run business placed customer service high on their list of priorities. Following a visit to our home by Keith, and what an excellent idea that the surveyor and fitter are one and the same person, our ideas were translated into the art of the possible and we received a proposal/estimate that fulfilled all our requirements. Subsequent changes in specific requirements, initiated by us, were accommodated with ease. When it came to carrying out the practical work, Keith was superb and proved to be every bit as good a craftsman as he was in offering us advice during his initial visit. In addition to being an industrious and tidy worker, he was good company, made light of the inevitable problems that arise in a major bathroom refurbishment and, most importantly, produced a finished product of the very highest quality. We have just had our bathroom and en suite completely gutted and re-fitted and are delighted with the result. We went to Bikini Bathrooms with a very open mind about what we wanted (in other words, hardly any ideas at all) and Andy Earney, the fitter allocated to us, came round to tell us what was possible which was more or less anything! He suggested various options and we then went into the showroom to make our choices. This turned out to be far more difficult than we expected due to the huge range of items available - and needed lots of visits to the showroom, but Anne and Brendan worked very patiently with us, making suggestions and guiding us but not choosing for us. They are extremely knowledgeable about the products. Andy then came to stay (!) for four weeks and completely transformed both rooms. My new bathroom was designed and installed by bikini bathrooms fitter, Tony Daley.When I initially enquired I received excellent advice from Anne and the team in the showroom about what fittings to use to meet my budget, while creating the effect I wanted. Tony came along to have a look at my bathroom and came up with a layout I would not have thought of and which turned out to be the perfect solution for making the best of an unusual shaped space. Tony's plans involved moving the bath to the opposite and of the room. This involved stripping some tiles and replastering, removing a boxed in section and exposing a beam and making all this area good. (He wasn't sure what he would find until it was done!) The standard of all this work, as well as tiling, and all the fitting was excellent. Tony worked several weekends in order to get the job done by Christmas and everything was always left neat and tidy.

Having first encountered Bikini Bathrooms (an intriguing name choice!!) through Andy Earney's such decalled van being parked on my neighbour's driveway whilst he installed a bathroom and a cloakroom for them, I invited him to discuss and quote for the renovation of our second bathroom - our ensuite had been updated by another company/fitter some three years previously.
