I loved bootcamp! Very hard work and painful at times but totally enjoyable. The team games on the last day were the best of the lot, the worst was the awful shark thing - killer! My fitness levels are much improved, I have more stamina now and can do full press ups - couldn't even do one at the beginning. I have lost inches as well, even though I haven't measured I know my clothes are baggy now, and I've lost 5 pounds in weight and also reduced my body fat percentage. I'm tired due to the early mornings and constant exercise but I think I will feel the benefits after having a rest. My lap times have improved and I have a great sense of achievement! I would do bootcamp again but not for a little while ;o) and I would definitely recommend it to my friends now. The level of training is very good as you gave alternatives and you pushed us but never pushed too hard.

I ran out of space! I love the way Karen isn't always coordinated. We all know Karen is a running giant, looks incredible and is super fit. She knows so much about the body and it's physiology, she has years of experience etc, however, what is so GREAT is that a lot of the concept/combination of exercises is new to her too. Awesome though she is, Karen finds some exercises difficult too. It makes me feel we are all in it together; we can all exchange notes on which bits are killing the next morning. I have great respect for Karen. Her wonderful enthusiasm and ability to laugh at herself is very motivating and human. I can't bear these saint like, perfect Barbie doll instructors with an air of superiority, that strut about barking instructions while doing nothing except a couple of each exercise as a demo or else a vision of coordination and speed, counting boringly, and making you feel like an inferior blob. One always feels undermined or on their back foot before you even start; like one will never be able to get to that stage of perfection. Fit For A Princess is nothing like this thankfully, I am sure that is the reason for its success! Karen is also very caring, I can trust that if something was too much for someone she would tell you to take it down a notch or do something different. She isn't so focused on pushing everyone that you injure yourself. She can see the difference. That's a talent. Sian and Danni are great too! Sian is clearly a demon runner and cycle rider and she is a great encourager. Dani has a calm serenity to her, gliding through the exercises like she isn't moving fast; a bit of a swan! I struggle with the cardio, therefore I am never with Karen as she pushes the fittest on to meet their goals, Dani always makes me feel like she is there just for me whilst I struggle to keep running (usually at the back). She always points out how much I have improved and makes me feel like I am fabulous! Put quite simply, Beaconsfield Princesses ROCK!!!

Did I enjoy bootcamp? YESSSSS V much. It's fun, good for ya and wakes up yer soul for a day of getting things done efficiently! Getting up early and stealing a bit of the day where no one else is about is the best bit, I just LOVE that bit which was a total surprise for me. Not quite so good was not being able to move quick enough; power to weight ratio! I'm not that big or heavy but still feel the need for improvement! Fitness levels, have I improved them? Deffo, 40 second improvement on run time and now it is my body that struggles not my lungs. Also I recover MUCH more quickly. Very noticeable. I lost 6.5lbs in the first week, definitely changed shape and toned up. By the end of boot camp I was the same weight as I started again??? Muscle must be very heavy as I am deffo smaller and look great by comparison. I always have a lot of energy so can't own up to noticing a difference on that score but I feel my core strength has improved. My sleep patterns have improved too, ie not going to bed in the early hours, getting more sleep per night than the last 20 years now! A real sense of improvement for me, I drank less alchohol and virtually no tea. Getting up every day and not being late once is a bit of a miracle for me. Exercise empowers me I think. Started the weight loss and I am writing this after day 4 of the next boot camp! I think I am going to do every one I can. Why not? I recommend bootcamp to my friends and my Mum is doing this bootcamp with me. The 6am start seems to be a BIG obstacle for most. For me it is the way forward and it makes me run the home better. I really enjoy it. Bootcamp is great value for money, especially if you join for 11 days of being beasted about on a proper, well thought out and totally varied program which actually works. Superb value! Karen is amazing, smiling and laughing her head off all the time. Very refreshing!

I loved bootcamp. I feel energised and more positive about things because I feel better in myself. I managed to do full press ups quite easily but some of the timed laps and some aspects of the cardio had me really challenged. My fitness levels are improved and I am managing to do more of the high impact exercises. My arms, legs and tummy are all more toned and I have more energy all day, my skin is clearer too. I definitely have a sense of achievement as at the beginning I really struggled but now I know how far I can push myself and I do push because I can see the improvement. I'm already signed up to do it again and I tell everyone about Fit for a Princess! The level of training was just perfect for me because you can do as much or as little as is right for you. The best thing was the variety in the workouts. Just when you think you know what is coming it changes! I can't think of anything that would make bootcamp better than it already is because in my opinion it's perfect. I've done two bootcamps now and 11 days is as much physical as my body can take. I stay on the eating programme all the time and I love all the fresh/raw food. A huge thank you to Karen. She is a constant source of energy. Her sense of humour can lift me at times when i am hitting the wall. I have had two tough days this bootcamp and Karen supported me and gave me enough encouragement to carry on. There is so much variety every day and that's due to the thought and planning Karen puts in. I would also like to thank Sian and Dani, they are also brilliant trainers. The stretches they help us with at the end of classes are a bonus we all look forward to.

Bootcamp was absolutely fantastic. I felt I was constantly pushed! Being outside and getting my fitness levels up was most enjoyable, though I'm not so enthusiastic about the 'mountain climbers' (I think that's what they are called). My fitness levels have definitely improved as I was able to run for 4 miles and although I haven't yet checked to see if I have lost any inches or changed shape I definitely feel better! I feel great! I am really pleased as I improved my lap time and have learned loads of new exercises. I've already signed up to do it again and I would recommend this to all my friends (I'm recruiting at the moment!) The level of training is 10/10 and definitely good value for money. We didn't do the same thing twice in the 2 weeks of bootcamp because there was plenty variety in the workouts. I didn't follow the eating programme this time but I am going to do that as well for the next one. I absolutely loved bootcamp! Karen was so fantastic; she made us all laugh while pushing us to our limits. Totally loved it, and can honestly say it is the most fun I have ever had while working out! It really reminds me of being back at school, when you are at school there aren't any limits. Can't wait for the next one! Missing it already! Thanks Karen, lots of love Georgie xxxxx
