This years gala day is to be held at Gateshead Civic Centre. Organisers expect around 5000 visitors.
Visitors will have the opportunity to meet top children's authors.
There will be special activities such as storytelling, games, theatre and crafts.
In addition there will be a large paperback bookshop with author signings
