Crescent Cat Rescue Information

Serving the Frinton and Walton area and beyond, Crescent Cat Rescue animal welfare society have been providing care and shelter for cats in need for over 25 years and they have successfully found good homes for hundreds of cats.

To continue with their important work, this animal welfare society needs help from the animal lovers of Frinton and Walton. The best way to help is to offer a stray or abandoned cat a loving home but, if this is not possible, there are many other ways to be of assistance.  As well as the rescue shelter, the charity also have a shop in The High Street, Walton-on-the-Naze.  They are always grateful to receive good quality items to sell in order to raise the vital finances needed to care for the cats at the rescue shelter. Almost any items can be sold from clothes and shoes to small items of furniture- bric-a-brac is especially popular!  Of course, volunteers are also necessary and anyone with any spare time could assist in the shop or at the rescue centre helping to clean or generally care for the cats.


The Charity's Mission Statement

To relieve the suffering of cats and kittens who are in need of care and attention and in particular to provide and maintain a cattery as refuge for the reception and care of unwanted and lost cats and the treatment of sick and ill- treated cats.  In addition to find new and suitable homes for cats and kittens.
