The Gallery Bar and Grill is situated in a Prime location in the very centre of Formby. It’s opening in January of 2008 provided a new, stylish and contemporary dining venue in the village and quickly proved popular with local food lovers. The lavish restaurant has an open plan layout, designed around an attractive central bar area and has luxurious seating for fifty diners. Above the main dining area sits a VIP dining room that accommodates up to twelve diners for those special occasions.
The Gallery Bar and Grill is open every day from 11am -11pm serving top quality yet affordable light lunches during the day and delicious breakfast during the weekend. Once the evening arrives, the restaurant displays its luxuriantly impressive, internationally influenced menu which is proudly based on locally sourced suppliers.
Typical starters might include an exotic Crispy-fried Sichuan Squid with our home made lemon mayonnaise or Somerset Brie, potato and caramelised white onion tart. To follow, a typical main course choice might be our famous Pressed Belly Pork with roasted squash, baby turnips and polenta. Additionally, from Monday to Wednesday, Taste at The Gallery Bar and Grill offers a midweek deal of two courses with a bottle of wine at specially reduced prices. For that special occasion or important business meeting, our exclusive, private dining room at The Gallery Bar & Grill, Formby is for you. In our sumptuous and tastefully decorated private area you can watch our Head Chef, Alex Navarro create one of his culinary masterpieces before your eyes through our framed viewing window. This beautiful room is totally private and seats up to twelve diners. We recommend it for that more informal dining event or as the perfect setting away from the office environment to conduct your business meeting.
