Servicing
Menu Servicing is undertaken at AutoMech Formby according to the vehicles usage.
Prices start from as little as £39.50 (plus parts) for an interim service.
All parts used are of ‘OE’ standard which means they are of the same quality of the original fitment.
Brake & Clutch
Same day clutch fitting is available at Automech Formby, and prices
are very competitive using ‘LUK’ replacement units in the majority of fitments subject to availability.
Brake testing is carried out to high standards, using a roller brake tester to check brake efficiency and visual checks on the inspection ramps with all wheels removed. Brake fluid is also tested and should be replaced at least every 3 years or 36000 miles!
Diagnostics
At Automech Formby we can check your vehicles engine management system (including diesels) as well as Airbag, ABS traction control etc using the latest diagnostic test equipment including oscilloscope testing on electrical systems.
Timing Belts
Timing belts should be replaced at manufactures recommended intervals. At AutoMech Formby we offer a Timing belt replacement service using ‘OE’ equipment replacing not just the belt but the tensioner and idler wheels etc.
Cylinder Head/Engine Repairs
Full workshop facilities are available to enable the repair of cylinder head gaskets and or valve damage caused by timing belt failure. Should the need arise a replacement engine service can be carried out.
MOT
Having gained full approval from VOSA, Automech Formby can carry out an MOT test on your Petrol or Diesel vehicle either while you wait or if you wish to leave the vehicle with us then be contacted at a later time.
Tyre/Exhaust Fitting
A full range of Tyres and Exhausts are available to Automech Formby as well as a good coverage of catalytic convertors should your vehicle require one.
General Repairs
All types of general repairs are carried out including shock absorbers, drive shafts, cv joints, wheel bearings etc.
