Both landlord and waitress set the perfect atmosphere, being made to feel welcome and comfortable immediately is a rare experience. Excellent selection of local bitters and ciders with personal recommendations from the landlord. The food was perfect - cooked to request and delicious. The whole experience was a delight!

The Miners Arms is the Jewell in the Crown of the Forest of Dean.If you visit the Forest you should make a visit to the Miners. Have a meal or sample some of the fine real ales. Five different ales available every day or sample the local ciders. Allways a warm wellcome from the friendly bar staff.

The pub always has a good buzz with friendly locals and lots of real ales and ciders! You wont find a better pint anywhere! In fact this year, because it is such a lovely friendly pub, we are going to stay at the cottage in the grounds and we are really looking forward to it.
