Visited to eat for the first time yesterday . The experience got off to a great start and continued. We were made to feel welcome with high quality attention throughout. The staff were both professional and friendly, greeted us warmly and made us feel important. The quality of the food was outstanding and the environment pleasant and calm despite most tables being in use. A quality experience in e3very respect. Will be back soon and have already recommended you to others

the perfect place to end the day for us after walking all over the forest of dean. Pies- Oh My God!!! the snug in the pub is so cute & the fire/candles/indoor well/fish/Pigs/jukebox & new pie & deli shop with Accommodation make this pub perfect. A big thank you to all the staff.x

Lovely food, you can tell it is home made. A lovely ambience in the pub with the fire and the candles. The staff were very polite and gave great service and very efficient. We enjoyed our evening - Thank You!

Popped in the farmers Boy Inn today to catch up with Phil (Landlord) and thought we would try a pub lunch. This pub has a great reputation so our expectations were high and I have to say they didn't disapoint. First class service and food in lovely surroundings. This place is successful because its simply does what it says on the tin....Top tucker, friendly service in a proper traditional English pub ( run by an Irishman! ) well done Phil and the team, we wish you all the best.

Very comfortable and the most friendly place we've found in a very long time. Made extremely welcome, even the dogs (which is rare). The food is excellent and we would highly recommend the Farmers Boy to everyone.

Excellent customer service. Compliments to the chef...first class food. Dave would recommend the 16oz steak to meat lovers. I would recommend the lamb, it melted in your mouth. Pleasent barmaid. It was a pleasure to spend money with "the landlord" who greeted us with a lovely warm Irish welcome. We will be back soon.
