The original Knockley Dog Foods was Founded in 1976 by its present owners Terry and Angela Glastonbury.
At that time, finding it very difficult to source quality dog foods for their top show golden retrievers and working Labradors here in the Forest of Dean area, they decided to start knockley Dog Foods in Lydney. (This is now being run by youngest daughter Louise).
By producing their own complete dog foods they were able to produce a quality product that became popular all over the west country.
They now use one of the UK’s top dog food manufacturers to produce Knockley Dog Foods – ensuring that the customer receives the same excellent quality standards as other more popular brands but at a much reduced cost.
As well as their original flake foods they now market a full range of twelve complete dog foods, catering from puppy to senior, including those with special dietary needs such as the working dog and gluten free products. With more than 100 years of experience between the family in dog training, breeding and nutrition, you can rely on Knockley here in the Forest of Dean to give great advice if you’re unsure of what to feed your animals.
