I visited DK Furnishing in lydney a few years ago and was very impressed with the variety of furniture. I was greeted my Kathy who was extremely helpful and gave me many options that were affordable for my budget. I bought lots of different pieces of furniture, very good quality and good prices. Kathy also offered me coffee and took time with me. A year later Kathy very kindly helped me move my furniture to my new flat in gloucestershire, she even put my bed together for me. I would definitely say that Kathy and DK Furnishing have an all round customer service and care for customers. It was a pleasure dealing with her and I always recommend her to any of my friends. anita houghton
I discovered DK a few years ago after moving into the area. I have purchased various items from them: beds, mattresses, shelving etc. The staff are always so friendly and give me good advice. The quality of the products is fantastic and there is always something to suit my budget. Having the items delivered for free and the beds built was an added bonus. Altogther, an exellent local business - the best of The Forest of Dean.

Friendly, helpful people. I brought my bedroom and living room furniture from DK 3 years ago and it's still like new. Their prices are excellent especially as they are a small business, no need to go miles looking for cheap prices when they are on your doorstep.
Excellent service, comfortable, homely atmosphere to browse and shop. I found Kathy and her staff very friendly and helpful with nothing being too much hassle... I even got a cup of coffe and a muffin! Prices are reasonable, with the added bonus of the delivery and furniture making service- this was the swaying factor for me! Delivery flexible and on time. Very helpful staff,a large selection of furniture , you need to go in and look around because from the outside you would not think they could have that much in stock. If they haven't got what you want they will get it very quickly for you, very fast delivery and if you do have a problem which is very unlikely they will quickly sort it out .
This shop is great for all of your furniture, I furnished every room. All furniture was to a high standard and even placed in the rooms where I wanted it to be, I didnt lift a thing.Staff are very helpful and friendly, but the best thing of all was the price. I was choosing a new bed and was given a great deal of choice, at very reasonable prices and excellent quality and style. Delivered very promptly and by a cheerful man who was also vey helpful.
