Business First's vision is to bring together local businesses to create a vibrant and dynamic organisation that provides its members with greater opportunities to develop networks, learn from peer group experiences, access support and advice, gain additional business skills and grow their businesses through referring fellow members.
Co founder Roger James commented "Of course, it takes some practice if you're new to networking, but the business like atmosphere will help you settle in much more quickly and you'll soon wonder how you managed to get by without us"
There's business to be done of course, but all that's necessary is a club chairman to guide you through the meeting and make sure that the important issues are addressed.
Feedback on leads generated is an important part of each of the weekly meetings. In essence it about being able to recommend a business that you know and trust. This is a hugley powerful way to do business and at the same time learn new skills.
Each member's experience and expertise is considered valuable to the group.
Referrals will always be as a result of trust and need to be volunteered, not forced.
Founders Allan Wasley & Roger James are following up opportunities frequently and will support each member with their leads and referrals if required.
They strongly believe that Business comes First and encourage you to keep your mobiles phones switched on during the meetings so that you do not miss any potential opportunities.
