Social networking is a great way to let people know about you, show your work, spread the word, make new friends and fans and catch up with those you really should have kept in touch with. But to get the best out of social networking you need some interesting content. Don’t be daunted by this, it just means adding pictures or even a short video to make your pages a whole lot more colourful and interesting. Don’t though fall into the trap of posting any old photo’s unless you just sharing between friends. If you are showing your work, people need to be able to see and appreciate it. That means a good, well exposed, framed and lit photo not one taken on your phone or surrounded by jumble.

For super effective social networking your content needs to look good and you need to “get” the power of imagery. If you think that sounds a bit confusing – take some advice.
