Folkestone Invicta Football Club were founded in 1936. They moved to their latest home, The Buzzlines Stadium, in Cheriton Road Folkestone in 1991 which is easily accessible for their Folkestone supporters.
Folkestone Invicta Football Club are currently playing in the Ryman (Isthmian) Premier League and are hoping for good results this season having finished mid league for the last two years. There is capacity for a crowd of 6 500 football supporters with seating for up to 900 people in the Wilf Armory Stand. Wilf Armory played for Folkestone Invicta Football Club from May 1934, he was player/manager of the club following the Second World War and became Director of the club in 1959. He maintained a close affiliation with Folkestone Invicta Football Club and was President until his death in 1996. The stand is named in his honour.
Cover for standing football spectators is provided by the "Granddad Stand", a full length covered terrace at Cheriton end of the football pitch. Uncovered standing areas complete the spectator accommodation. There is also the Stripes Club Bar to enable you relax, have a drink and hopefully celebrate a win after the match.
Ticket prices are £8 for adults, standing (Children £4) and £9 for the Wilf Armory Stand with seating, (Children £4.50). Up to two children will be admitted free with one paying adult. A programme is a must to catch up on league and player news and costs only £1.50.
