Sponsored walk in aid of Maggies Cancer Care Centres and Kingdom FM Radio's Kingdom Kids by disable artist Richard Toole taking in the Fife Coastal Path.
As well as walking, Richard will be spending rest time painting the area.
Starting at the South Side of the Tay Bridge, the walk will take in every town along the Fife Coastal path and finishes with a return walk over the Forth Road Bridge on 10 July 2009.
"The reason this will take 40 days is due to my disability that restricts the time and distance I can walk so I am allowing for up to 5 miles walking on any walking day - this 5 miles can take me 7-8hrs to complete. There are days set aside for street collections and days when I will be producing art works of the coastal views. and the frequent rest days that I have to take. I need your help with this or if you want to join on a sponsorship basis or just to do a painting get in touch, I would like as many people as possible to join the last day. From the car park the North Queens Ferry Hotel at 0945hrs and a return walk over the Forth Road Bridge ending at car park by 14,00hrs.
