About Us:

Baby Scan Studio was established and is run by Dr Alexander Christie. Dr Christie is recognised across the world for his expertise in scanning and is the most experienced baby scan operator in Scotland. He is responsible for introducing the first routine 20 week anomaly scan into the UK NHS in 1974 and has been at the forefront of his field since 1965.

Here at Baby Scan Studio we are a family run business and our aim is to provide baby scanning that is affordable and professional with a superior service. Dr Christie works with two operators who he has personally trained and both are University Medical Graduate.

What is 4D baby scanning?

4D means you are watching a 3D image which is happening in real time. The screen is mounted on the wall in front of you so that you can comfortable see the pictures of your baby as they are scanned and if they kick you will see it happen in real time.

With 4D baby scanning, watch your baby:

• Yawn
• Play with their toes
• Feel AND watch it kick

Scanning session lasts 20 – 45 minutes depending on the package you have chosen. However, we allow an hour, so you can take the time to enjoy this special experience and not feel rushed.
