Fife Battered by Storms Again

Bookmark and Share

Fife was battered by storms again on 3rd January 2011, was it just me or was this one far worse than Hurricane Bawbag, as it was affectionately known?

Once again Fife was shut off from Edinburgh as the Forth Road Bridge was closed, there were also local road closures, including a fallen tree closing the Coal Road.  Council recycling centres were closed and the big news on Twitter and Facebook seemed to be the status of the bin collections, whether to leave your bin out or take it in again, it was truely knife edge stuff!

It is good news however for the roofing companies in the area who will no doubt be kept very busy over the next few weeks putting right all the damage.
