Music in the Meadow 2014
Every Sunday afternoon until 7 September, Gostrey Meadow plays host to this year's Music in the Meadow . Enjoy the delights of a big brass band, blues, jazz or even rock music. Pack a picnic and relax or pop along to the tea tent for refreshments.

Museum of Farnham
Have fun learning about our past at the Museum of Farnham . The museum regularly runs craft activities in the school holidays and provides activity packs, so there is plenty to keep the kids interested. Opening hours are Tuesday to Saturday, 10am – 5pm.

Farnham Library
There's always plenty going on at Farnham library , suitable for all ages from toddlers to teenagers.
Keep an eye on their website for up and coming events.

Go on an adventure!
Farnham is the ideal place for discovering the great outdoors. The town is surrounded by gentle hills, streams and rivers, leafy lanes and historic buildings, making it the perfect setting to explore  on a bike or even just a gentle stroll.

Frensham Ponds
If the effort of driving to the seaside seems a little too much, take a trip to the next best thing – Frensham Ponds. No they are not technically beaches at all but soft sand, woodland trails and lots of wildlife can be much more fun.  (3 miles)

Alice Holt Forest
It's easy to while away a whole day at this beautiful ancient forest. Children can enjoy a playground, Timberline Trail mini assault course, Habitat Trail with a series of play structures and an Easy Access Trail. That will wear them out!

Pop to a Park
If you are just looking for a simple trip to the park but fancy trying somewhere a little bit different CLICK HERE for details of parks and playgrounds in Farnham and it's surrounding villages.

Don't forget to pay our events pages  a visit too, there are always plenty of local fêtes and shows throughout the summer. You will also find lots of adult entertainment – if you need some time-out from the kids!
