At the meeting for the Best of Farnham the staff we really friendly and the buffet food was delicious, it was lovely to taste food prepared instead of package goods. highly recommended especially the deserts. It was lovely that the chef came out and introduced himself. Thank you for a great evenning.

Lovely pub with beautiful, peaceful garden at the back, great suntrap in the summer! Friendly, helpful staff and fantastic food with a great variety of drinks. Good reward scheme where you can collect points and get great discounts and incentives.

My first visit and will not be my last. it is always a treat to have venison and the dish here was beautifully presented and tasted great. The staff were really friendly and nothing was too much trouble

Thanks for providing such an excellent venue for the Best Of Farnham meeting last night. It was my first visit to this lovely pub and the friendly staff put on a superb buffet with lots of choice. I will cetainly visit again and they have a great reward scheme too!

Great ambiance created by the lively and courteous Hosts.

An impressive menu from which we chose roast Sirloin and Venison, both of which were really good.

We shall certainly return.

Good real ales, very good bar staff. Friendly atmosphere.

A great staff supply, a constantly great product (Real Ale), as well as excellent food.

I have always been aware of the Shepherd and Flock having a permanent beer festival on the bar, so it seemed a good idea to have my recent 50th birthday celbrations there. The staff were very helpful with sorting out a good selection of food, considerate with the timing of it, and when it arrived the presentation was very good.

They also managed the tab in a way that didnʼt leave me worrying about my money.

We also had superb weather on the day so everybody had a great time. Iʼm not sure Stephen and team were responsible for that, but everything they were in charge of was handled very well!

I recommend anybody else with a celebration in mind to consider the Sheperd and Flock as a venue, or even if you just fancy a good pint of interesting beer.

Our party of four thoroughly enjoyed our meal and the 4 cask ales that we tried were in excellent condition. The landlord and landlady are very friendly as are their efficient and helpful staff - nothing is too much touble.

The atmosphere and the decor give a warm and relaxing evening out. Thankyou.

i have never found a pub prior to this where i have seen such an exceptional choice of ale! Whenever i go in theres a very dark beer available! Itʼs remarkable, and as a smoker to have a heated, covered an illuminated area out back is just a massive bonus!

As other posts have mentioned, the food is excellent too! i had a roast in their last week with my wife (more luck than judgement as it was nearly fully booked) that blew me away! the waitress even offered me more food! what are the chancesʽ!ʽ!ʽ!ʽ

my only critisism was that the tv was showing the f1 whilst the music was on last time i went in... slightlly annoying!!

We really love this pub, from its quirky location to the ever changing real ales. In particular the food is just brilliant, way ahead of the average pub in this area. The same goes for the staff, who are very friendly.

A unique setting in the middle of a round about, perfect for lazy afternoons car watching (always exciting in Surrey). The food is fabulous and the people are great fun, really friendly and welcoming. Would recommend to locals and anyone visiting, a great spot to stop for a pint!

We have always liked visiting the S & F pub because of the fabulous beers that they have on offer. Thereʼs always something to please the palet, especially if they have some honey beers in stock. The only problem we now have is that you canʼt really enjoy a drink outside in summer because of all the smokers but this seems to be a problem everywhere now. If they had separate non-smoking areas in their outside areas, we would have recommended this pub as Truly Exceptional. Shame. Their food is always good.
