'Being an independent jeweller allows me to take the time personally to source stones from all around the world. With these we make our own jewellery, or commission work from a variety of craftsmen. So we can offer a truly diverse range, and now, we have added a NEW bespoke ring design service. We can make almost any style of ring your heart may desire, from simple engagement rings through to elaborate gem encrusted dress rings, and everything in between. We can even take your old unwearable jewellery and turn it into a gorgeous new ring which you will love and treasure.'
About Julie Peel Jewellery
Originally, I started Zigzag Jewels in 1998 and, with Lucy Ellor, opened our Farnham shop in The Borough in 2004. But for some time now I have wanted to put my own name on the business, and this year we decided that it was time to make the change. So, we have renamed the shop 'Julie Peel' and given it a bit of a facelift.
I still travel the world, sourcing all the jewellery myself. We create our own designs, as well as buying from individual designer-makers. Our jewellery is all UK hallmarked - either sterling silver, gold, platinum or palladium - and our gemstone jewellery is all handmade, from real gemstones. We offer a really unusual selection to suit everyone's pocket.
The team includes qualified young jewellers, with national awards for craftsmanship and design, and Lucy is a fully qualified member of the Gemmological Association of Great Britain. All our staff love jewellery and have customer service at the top of their list of priorities.

We are constantly adding new things to our range so that you will always find a something for every occasion; birthday, anniversary, weddings, bridesmaid gifts, mother of the bride, special occasions, or just because you like it!
Bespoke Jewellery Service
We have a huge selection of pearls and gemstones and make all our own gemstone beaded necklaces with matching bracelets and earrings. We can make special occasion necklaces and earrings to order - this is perfect for a wedding as you can get wedding jewellery; necklaces, pearls, bracelets and matching earrings hand made to order to match your colour scheme and all within your budget!
And of course, there is our NEW bespoke ring design service, where we can make any ring in any stone, whether it be engagement or eternity rings with Diamonds, Rubies, Emerald and Sapphires, or something unusual like Tsavorite, Tanzanite or Peridot.

As well as visiting us in store and online, we will happily take telephone orders, and deliver your purchase anywhere in the UK by Royal Mail Special Delivery, within three working days of clearing your payment (for orders received before 1pm).

I had recently moved to Farnham and didn't know much of the area, but noticed Julie Peel Jewellers on the main street. I wandered in and met Julie, who, coincidently, had just begun designing and manufacturing bespoke jewellery! The service was wonderful from start to finish. Julie was excited and enthusiastic about re-vamping my old rings into something special for my engagement. She drew up a series of designs with meticulous detail and was able to show me computer generated images of how the finished piece would look. Every detail was considered with the utmost professionalism. Although I knew the ring was being made, Robin collected it once complete. The first time I saw the finished ring was when he was on bended knee in the middle of the Hampton Court Maze on October 1st 2011! It really was stunning. I have had so many compliments since, and when I tell people how it was made, some have even shed a few tears! The ring is not only beautifully designed, it also has such huge sentimental value, something that a shop-bought ring could never match.
Myself being someone who knows nothing about jewellery I found that the layout, range of products, and more importantly the service was impeccable. From the moment I step in to other more main stream jewellers I immediately feel intimidated and pressured into buying something too expensive, however this was not the case at Julie Peel, where the service was friendly, informative and most of all helpful where others tend to be patronising. I know that jewellery is not always the answer when buying presents, but for those future special occasions, I know that I will be returning to Julie Peel.
You are always treated with courtesy and care. The staff could not be more helpful. The products are always fresh and there is a wide variety of price. When I was raising money for the local hospice in my role as Waverley Mayor, they donated a necklace for the auction, when I was seeking only a reduction in price. The shop is well-kept and an asset to the street-scene in the town. I really cannot praise this business highly enough.
The selection of totally inspirational, original and beautiful pieces of jewellery. There's something to suit every budget no matter how big or small. The staff are welcoming and extremely helpful, offering suggestions and advice and making sure that every piece you purchase is lovingly wrapped. I started buying from Julie Peel 5 years ago and now have several pieces myself and always go there for gifts for friends and family. I'm never disappointed by their selection.

They have a really wide range of jewellery from classic to very creative modern designs - something for every purse and every occasion. In the shop, they give friendly service, plus their regular e-mails are full of interesting information and advice, as well as enticing offers!
I have had a passion for gemstones since I was first taken to the Geological Museum in South Kensington when I was about 7 years old - a very long time ago. I get the feeling that the girls who run Julie Peel share that passion - for the beautiful and unusual. It's nice not to feel like a jewellery geek if we are talking about how lovely a spinel can be. If I'm looking for a particular present I always find something just right. And the temptations when I am just browsing, and admiring, are sometimes just irrestible. I love their settings, their use of colour and the imaginative combinations they put together. It's a joy to go in there.

Julie Peel have a unique range of silver jewellery that is great for gifts or for yourself. I have a lovely birthstone necklace and whenever I wear it I always receive lots of fab compliments because it is so striking. I like the fact that they are experts on gemstones and can offer real insight into what you are buying compared with the high street chains.
I love Zigzag - it is the only jewellery shop that has different, affordable jewellery with friendly, helpful staff. There is something for every taste and every budget. It's a great place for gifts - the packaging is beautiful and you are offered free giftwrapping. I would highly recommend it.

The design of zigzag jewellery is individual, the line is graceful in its simplicity and can compliment both classic and modern fashion clothes. My husband knows he is safe to choose me a present from zigzag. It is the first place I look for special presents. For my son's wedding, I personally chose a zigzag pendant in preference to a family piece of jewellery to compliment my outfit. It was greatly admired. Do visit Zigzag. You won't be disappointed. I love going to the ZigZag shop in Farnham. It tempts one to go inside where it is attractively laid out. The staff are always pleasant and helpful. The jewellery is really gorgeous. When wearing ZigZag jewellery on holiday it is often admired and I'm asked where it came from. This special jewellery fills the gap between cheaper costume and the higher end jewellery which is out of my price range. The range is constantly changing and keeping up with current jewellery fashions.

The staff are always so helpful - but not too pushy - there is wonderful selection of jewellery to choose from. I invariably find what I want.
