I have recently purchased a car from Chequers Motor Company. I can recommend this company for their helpful and professional manner in dealing with my purchase. If you are seeking a genuine dealship you will certainly find chequers a company worth doing business with.

Others have already said it before me, but to repeat, Jonathan at Chequers is one of the "good" ones. His service is excellent just like the value and condition of the cars he presents, that have even the smallist of blemishes made good.
I would certainly recommend Chequers, but you will have to be quick because Jonathon's car sell very quickly.

I recently bought a car from Chequers. I found the whole buying experience to be a breath of fresh air!
Jonathan did not use hard sale tactics and walked me through the whole process from start to finish. He kept his word and delivered on all his promises with regards to taxing the car and taking it through an MOT. The whole buying process was very quick and easy. Jonathan bent over backwards to help me complete the deal and pick up the car in a very short time scale. He is very professional, personable and more importantly he knows alot about the cars he is selling.
My first impressions of Jonathan and Chequers is that they are a very friendly and honest company who do not lie and take advantage of people. We were after a car that would be more practical for our families needs - with a large pushchair and a 6 month old to get in and out of regularly.

We came across a car at Chequers and arranged a viewing. Jonathan was very helpful and was happy for me to take it for a spin - something I am not good with (nervous driver) but it all went smoothly.

Being a company car driver for the last 23 years this has been a new experience for me and I have to say I have been extremely impressed with the friendly, professional, and unpressured approach to every visit I have made to Jonathon May. Both cars I have bought (a superb Mini Cooper S and a Porsche Boxter S) have been presented in impeccable condition and Jonathon makes a real effort to offer total peice of mind and aftersales service to the highest level. As an example he has just replaced both number plates and mounts and the Boxter badge on the boot totally voluntarily and when he delivered the car back to me he had not only polished and waxed it to showroom condition but also treated the leather seats too. Now that's what I call customer service and going the extra mile. Would recommend to anyone without hesitation.

Noticing that there was a new business in Wrecclesham,I stopped off one night and met Jonathan. From first meeting him I could tell he was a genuine and customer focussed character-something I've only seen once before in a car salesman! I promised I would buy a car from him if he could find me a good one.
He took details of what I needed and then shortlisted a couple which fitted the bill. After a couple of visits during which time I met his family, I bought a 3year old Saab at a sensible price. Everything Jonathan promised was done before collection- service, MOT, tax, warranty, right down to reimbursing me a few weeks later within 24 hours for a spare key. He even suggested I advertise a part exchange car privately first to see if I could get a better price, then subsequently honoured the price he'd originally offered for it.

As Schwarzenegger used to say, I'll be back.
