Rushmoor is mainly made up of two internationally renowned Hampshire towns of Farnborough and Aldershot. It s population stands at 90,987: is made up of 33,840 in Aldershot (including 5,000 military personnel) and 57,147 in Farnborough.
Rushmoor (including Farnborough and Aldershot) forms the heart of the Blackwater Valley. Communication and links with other parts of the country are excellent, with both the M4 and M3 near by and two main line stations with frequent services to London (Waterloo), plus North Camp station just outside the Borough adding a direct link to Gatwick Airport. In addition, for those with international links, Farnborough Aerodrome is a business aviation centre and both Heathrow and Gatwick are within ease reach.
The Borough offers an wonderful environment in which to live, with great leisure facilities, lovely forest walks, good housing and easy access to London, the New Forest and the South Coast.
