Rushfest promises to be a hugely popular and successful event, combining all
elements of a festival with the comforts and facilities of the stadium.
There is seating available throughout the stadium as well as a huge grass
area in front of the stage to be enjoyed.
The Rushfest represents unbelievable value for money, with a whole weekend
of fun and music by a huge selection of the biggest bands from the 80's it
is surely not to be missed.
On Saturday it's a mod, ska and punk fest with bands including From The Jam
featuring Bruce Foxton, The Beat, Sham 69 and Ex Simple Minds.
Sunday will see a 1980s fest featuring The Real Thing, China Crisis, T'Pau,
Hazel O'Connor and The Blockheads.
Monday will feature stars from the TV phenomenona X Factor and Britain's Got
Talent. The day will be headlined by X Factor winner Joe Mcelderry and also
feature Lloyd Daniels, Ruth Lorenzo, Fugitive, Six D and Twenty Twenty.
Tickets are normally £25 in advance for adults and £20 for children who must
be accompanied by a paying adult. A three day pass is £65 for adults or £50
for accompanied children.
