If you write a letter to Santa this year remember to include your child’s full name and address and remember to attach a 1st or 2nd class stamp to the envelope. Then send your letter to:

Santa or Father Christmas

Santa’s Grotto

Reindeerland

SAN TA1

Royal mail are trying to reply to as many as possible so if you are lucky you might get a reply!! Very exciting.

Another activity children love to do is going for walks and taking pictures using a digital camera. Encourage your children to look for Christmas trees, interesting lights, and all things Christmas! Then in the New Year take the photos to nursery so that your child can talk about they have been up to and everyone can see what your child enjoyed finding at Christmas time.

Check out your local library for activities, Farnborough Library have Story times, Rhyme times and also baby sign classes on Tuesdays and Thursdays throughout the Christmas period including over the school holidays! There is also a Saturday Story time on Saturday 11th December including Christmas stories and a craft session.

And remember no matter how much you spend on all the latest toys and gadgets, we all know their favourite bit will be playing with the empty cardboard box!

All the above the ideas have come from the friendly carers at Footsteps Day Nursery and Preschool.
