Great time had at Showcase Glass where 10 of us were given the chance to design and make are own coaster, it was like going back to the best day at school, I should say that our group were aged between 35-53. Great display of art and crafts on display as well.

My first experience of Showcase Glass was a taster session in glass fusing. Jon who ran it was very knowlegeable, helpful and friendly. I made a little suncatcher of fish in the ocean which turned out really well.
I was so inspired by the glass work exhibited for sale by Jon that I booked in for a session of six classes.
I have been delighted with everything I have made as I have never considered myself "artistic". Over the six classes I have made jewellery, glass coasters, a fab bowl, mirror, a fish and finally a glass landscape!
Have a go yourself and be amazed at what you can do with Jon's expert advice.
The work space is surrounded by a wide range of handmade items by a variety of artists ranging from Jon's own unique glassware and jewellery to pictures by various artists and a myriad of other craft items. Imaginative gifts to buy, or to make yourself!
Next time you are in Stirling make a point of visiting this hidden gem!

You have to go to Showcase glass when you can't find that special present! Jon Piccolo at Showcase glass have ideas in abundance and you can even make your own or pay for your beloved to enjoy a while making their own bespoke piece! I heartely recommend it to you all!
