What a fabulous weekend we had, of course, mainly to do with the sunshine! It's amazing how everything looks so wonderful when the weather is great - and Exeter and the area looks and feels so wonderful, especially when it's not raining... It's good to see smiles on people's faces.
We went to Exmouth on Saturday to take our dog, Jenny, for a walk. In fact, we often go to Exmouth, because we like the sand, the water and the fresh air. Another reason why we often go is because we like to go out for brunch, and we usually go to Franklins Restaurant which is on the green in Exmouth.
I really recommend Franklins. It's a great place - with wonderful food, friendly staff - and you can take your dog there. You can get everything from a full English (in our case, veggie) breakfast, alcoholic drinks, cake - and they do dinner in the evening. A fabulous place - just outside Exeter - with a friendly, relaxed style which feels like a neighbourhood 'local'.
