I feel strange because on one hand I’m delighted to go back, to see my parents, my boyfriend and all my friends, but on the other hand I’m a little bit sad to leave all the friends that I’ve met in Exeter. Before arriving here, I didn’t have a lot of expectations and I thought I would spend a lot of time alone and I was worried about my stay here. Instead everything was revealed different from my thoughts. The morning after my arrival in Exeter I met Adrien, my housemate, who introduced me to the other girls and guys who are in Exeter throughout the same language organization. Sometimes during the week we went out together in the evening to drink something and have a friendly chat. In the weekend we did a lot of pleasant trips, visiting interesting and beautiful places in Devon. Moreover I found the perfect job for me, very kind and nice colleagues who brought me to every important event, helping me to improve my English and to know more about the business world. I am very thankful for all of them because they helped me to understand how to continue my study in Italy. I’m sure that I come back with some richer cultural luggage, with a lot of pleasant memories and more grown up. I really don’t like the goodbye and I prefer to think that it is only a simple “ciao”, because I hope to return here the next summer!

A big thank you to everybody!

A presto!

Sara.
