Reed Hall, an Event Exeter venue at the University of Exeter, is a stunning grade II listed building - a hidden treasure nestled in 300 acres of enchanting landscaped gardens.

A selection of individual meeting rooms are available ranging from the ceremonial Upper Lounge, a light airy space with sweeping views across the city, to the quaint Garden Room with its ornate ceiling and doors leading out to the landscaped gardens. We came to your wonderful Santa Sunday Lunch, and wanted to send our sincere thanks. We all had a lovely time, the children loved every minute, and were very excited to meet Santa! The food was great, service excellent, disco perfectly pitched and the number of people was buzzing but not overwhelming. Many thanks for all your help in organising a great gala dinner on Saturday last to celebrate our twenty years in business. We have hosted events before at high quality venues and have found the most difficult aspect to be finding high quality venues with equally high quality staffâ¦.At Reed Hall you have that and duty manager Peter led his team excellently, nothing was too much trouble and even when we were running seriously late he exuded calmness and professionalism. Several guests commented on the quality of the food and I think that both you and your colleagues can give one another a big pat on the back!! We will return!!
If youâre in two minds⦠pick Reed Hall! We had one of the best days of our lives here, and couldnât recommend it more. Once the tables are dressed and flowers are everywhere, itâs just beautiful. Beautiful grounds, beautiful house, beautiful food, beautiful people. The gardens are lovely for a glass of bubbly, and for kids to play in. Itâll look stunning in your photos. We were probably one of the more disorganised couples, but Louise and her team were totally on it. They made sure that on the day, everything wasnât just good. It all came together way better than weâd ever expected it to be. Reed Hall is better value than a lot of country hotels. But you still get a country hotel experience. And your guests donât have to trek across Dartmoor to get there. It rained on our wedding day. Chucked it down. And it didnât matter. People just wandered out to the garden whenever the sun came out again. What more could you ask for? Just amazing. (Thank you !)

We would just like to say a great big thank you for making Carlies and Darrens wedding such a pefect day for them. Reed Hall including the Bridal Suite looked great and all the staff from bar, waiting and management were wonderful nothing was too much trouble for them. We would recommend this wedding venue to everyone.
I want to pass on our thanks to you and all of the team at Marden and Holland Halls who made our stay so comfortable. Everybody was immensely helpful and welcoming and this was noticed by many of my party. I hope the customer satisfaction returns reflected this because I thought Exeter to have been one of the best venues we have visited in the past ten years.
