Crisp Professional Development use the Buckerell Lodge as the main venue for all our management training. The staff are always welcoming and helpful, the food is fantastic and the venue has the perfect location situated right on the M5 corridor but still close to the City Centre for our delegates who are travelling further afield on public transport. The complimentary parking is also a huge plus point for us too, a fantastic venue all round.

Probably the best hotel whilst on cricket tour we have had through Shire Sports. Sorted out all requests promptly and effectively and never gave the impression it was too much trouble. Bar opened specifically for us when required and happy to serve 'after hours' by billing the room. Much appreciated by members of the tour. Good 'full English' with plenty of choice and extras. Served reasonably quickly despite a large wedding party present.
I stayed at the hotel in May on a business trip, and I would like to say how much I enjoyed it. I was greeted with a smile as soon as I arrived and my check-in was handled efficiently. My room was spotlessly clean with good facilities and plenty of room, and the free wi-fi was a nice extra (although I didn't use it). I took my evening meal in the bar, and the lady who took my order was very friendly and courteous, and the food was excellent. Likewise the breakfast was very good, with a large amount to choose from. The staff that I came into contact with were polite and helpful, as well as hard-working. I particularly liked the setting of the hotel, and found the gardens particularly conducive to unwinding after a long drive and a busy day. I would recommend the Buckerell Lodge to anyone, and if I am down in Exeter again, either on business or on holiday, I would not hesitate to come back.
