It gets me out twice a week we have a fun class have been going for 10 years now so i think that says a lot.Barbara makes old and new members very welcome and I think she is the BEST.
The session is full on and alive.Well attended so good atmosphere. Teacher is committed, works you hard. sends you lots of emails with tips and reminders or new sessions.
Great form of exercises and great teacher, explains in simple terms - really enjoy and I benefit from it greatly.

Barbera Kay has been developing a variety of classes for all levels of fitness. Her enthusiasm and professionalism is a great motivator and so classes grow and new ones are introduced. She has a good website with a monthly newsletter and now weekly information on fitness techniques. Masterclasses are held throughout the year. Business is booming! That is all due to Barbera's drive and personality.
Barbera is such a dedicated teacher and coming to "K" Fitness is a pleasure. She is very professional and talks a genuine interest and great love of her pupils. She has a big heart and is very kind and generous allowing my 79 year old mum to join us in class which made her day!

I attend Barbara's Dance Fitness class in Stow and it's just great - it is a good workout but most of all we all have a laugh and I think that's invaluable. She has enough energy and enthusiasm for the whole class, and is an inspiration given that she's not exactly a Spring chicken! I haven't tried the Yoga and Pilates classes yet, but I just might!
Lovely friendly teacher (Barbara) who is an absolute expert in her field. She advises us on how to get the best out of her classes whilst making it fun. She keeps us up-to-date by email, and only asks us to pay for the classes we attend, even if we pay in advance. She even organises special events, such as a candlelit session at Christmas.

Barbara Kay who runs this excellent business is a master at variety and yet consistency in her exercise classes. She really knows her stuff and, unlike so many classes, hers are NEVER boring. She also deliberately and skillfully builds up the exercises she uses so as to increase our fitness.
Barbara is such a lovely, approachable person. Her classes are always fun and yet demanding and she makes everyone feel welcome and wanted. She has a vast knowledge of the human body so she is able to recommend certain exercises for certain issues etc. I have to use the gym when I am at University as I cannot travel to Barbara's classes and I find that the exercise I do is no where near as satisfying or demanding. She is the best exercise teacher I have ever known!

The teacher is very motivating, she regularly changes the routines of the class so you never get bored of the same thing.Theyre a great crowd in the class and everybody has a laugh as well as excersing.She organizes social events for all that attend so it's a good place to make new friends as well.I would never go anywhere else now and i would highly recommend this class.

This is the best keep fit class I have been to. Barbara shows us exactly what to do, the exercises are really good and we have new ones all the time so the class is never boring. I always feel more flexible and lively after a class and the other ladies/girls in the class are very friendly so I am happy going to the class on my own. I get newsletters with useful tips on exercises and news on forthcoming events. I highly recommend this class.

Barbara Kay is an inspiring teacher of Pilates. I attend two of her classes in Stow on the Wold. One is a Pilates class and the other a vigorous dance class. Barbara is always cheerful and helpful and manages to get us to achieve more than we ever expected of ourselves. I know I am much fitter as a result of Barbara's Classess
The classes are enjoyable and motivating with plenty of variety and challenge plus special events. Delivered locally, in Badsey, makes all the difference.
I have not been able to attend classes for a while but I still am in touch with everything that Barbara is doing with the various classes. She gives 100% of her time to all that she does. I hope to return to tapping soon, it was great fun and good exercise.

It’s most motivating class I have ever been to, the instructor makes it so enjoyable, so as well as working out we have fun. I’ve made lots of friends at the classes. The instructor also organisers social events throughout the year where we all go out for a meal. I've been going to the class for a number of years now and it's the highlight of my week.

"k" Fitness is the best fitness class I have been to. Barbara lets people work at their own fitness level (but she does encourage you to work your hardest!) She is also very aware of safety and keeps a close eye on all of us. Most of all itʼs fun!

I am still exercising with K Fitness, and still do not enjoy exercise, but the variety which Barbara brings to the classes keeps my interest level there, which is excellent, because if i did not attend i know that i would seize up, and with Barbaraʼs teaching skills and patience it makes my exercising that much easier to do.
Always enjoyable, definitely worth turning out for - even on a cold, wet evening. Very welcoming & helpful - even if you havenʼt excercised for a while, you always leave feeling invigorated and glad you made the effort!
Barbaras classes are always well structured and fun, combining a variety of exercises with popular music.Emphasis is put on doing the movements correctly so that they really do work the right parts! (No strains) Always well worth the effort of going to.
I have been with Barbara now nearly 7yrs doing 2 classes per week and find her highly motivating and extremely good at what she does so much so that if I dont attend I have this guilt feeling within me.I also have so much fun and if you want lovely firm buttocks this is your lady mind you we have to work hard to get them.

I have attended Barbaraʼs Pilates Class followed by the fitness and tone class in Stow for two years and have been very impressed with her skill as a teacher. She always gives excellent instructions in a way which makes it easy to do the excercise correctly and safely. I have felt the benefit of the work out and have noticed am improvement in my muscle tone. I always feel I have achieved something at the end of the classes.
Barbaras tap dancing class is excellent in many ways. Its mentally stimulating, its a very good physically work out and it is great fun too. A weekly tap is highly recommended.

I joined Barbaraʼs classes in fitness pilates and fitness and tone, in Stow approx 2 years ago. She is an excellent teacher, understanding and kind. She makes the classes great fun, with different movements each week (so we do not get bored with any ʼoldʼ routines). She is a ʼfriendʼ to everyone in the classes and is an expert on body fitness but does not allow anyone to over exert themselves, howvever we all have masses of fun. I can honestly say K Fitness is the best group I have ever joined in over 50 years of exercise.

JillE LJoined the Fitness & Tone class recently started in Badsey. Brilliant. Good to have classes in the Village and an opportunity to make friends with some of the ʼlocal girlsʼ. Barbara is an absolutely wonderful instructor and everyone feels relaxed, as all levels of fitness, age and size are never made to feel embarrassed, we work to our own fitness level.
i go to legs bums and tums in stow the classes are good funand different every week so you dont get bored, and lots ofnew friends, well worth going.
As well as tap classes (which I have already reviewed) I have attended Fitness and Tone classes. These are a really thorough workout with the added benefit of fun. To keep the interest going, Barbara has been clever enough to change the routines from time to time by introducing different themes such as salsa and jive which have been enormously popular.
I have been tap dancing with Barbara for many years now. Not only are her classes always fun but she is consistently patient and skilful not only with newcomers but with those of us who are "old hands". Her monthly newsletters keep us all in touch and her tuition keeps us supple. In my opinion, she thoroughly deserves all the accolades she has received.

This is the first Pilates class I have been to and knew it was right for me directly we started the class. I had been recommended to go by my physiotherapist as I have arthritis in my lower spine. It has been very beneficial for it and my movement is a lot better. Barbara is an engaging personality who makes the class fun. She stretches you to your limit without you overdoing it! Itʼs the perfect way to keep fit if you donʼt enjoy classes like aerobics.
Fitness comes in many forms and with K fitness this includes tap-dancing! Young and old, experienced tappers and novices have a wonderful time, with laughter adding an extra dimension!

I have been to Barbaraʼs excercise classes (legs,bums and tums) for many years now and they are always varied, manageable, the benefits or reasons for certain movements are often explained, they include all parts of our bodies, are graded......and FUN! We donʼt wear lycra (hurray!) and Barbara always ends with anti-stiffness stretches which are spot on. Barbara also keeps up to date with health and exercise issues.
The exercise class in Stow is great fun and gently stretches and envigorates the tired muscles after a day at sitting at a desk. Barbara has a lot of enthusiasm and stamina to keep us going a whole hour each time. I would highly recommend the classes for anyone who wants to feel better and more flexible and balanced.

Fitness for some time now, when l first joined the classes l could not put on socks because of limited movement, but through exercise my flexibility has improved and is still improving with every class.Barbara always shows different levels of exercise, so you can choose which one you are most comfortable with, with the aim of improving and moving to the next level. This review is written by someone who does not enjoy exercise but every time l attend Barbaraʼs classes l am really glad l made the effort, if the classes ever stopped, l would definitely miss them.
