Provided a great service when my great Aunt was in hospital.
This radio station provides a unique radio service to patients of Evesham Community Hospital
I love this business as they will always put a smile on your face when they are out and about with there rodashows. A show they provide at a ridulously low price. They keep the patients and staff happy with there jolly chat and music. All in all they are a very friendly team with a lot of talent.
They contiualy year after year give up there time to entertain the patients and staff of Evesham Hospital. Every weekend and they even go in at Christmas to do there shows. They run a roadshow so other fund raising peple can use then and there excellents skills to help raise funds. This bunch from EHR are trully the robin hoods of Evesham.
They are a non-profit making organisation serving to provide radio entertainment throughout the weekend at Evesham Community Hospital. Many patients have prolonged stays in hospital and welcome the entertainment provided by all our local voluntary presenters because there are many who don't have the luxury of many visitors – making the weekend a drawn-out time. Their aim is to try and raise the spirits of these people and from the feedback they get, it definitely works. They also provide Roadshows as a way of supporting other local community organisations and provide entertainment in the form of games, competitions etc. where the children love to win prizes. These have proven very popular over the years with many schools requesting them each year.
They are a non profit organisation and they bring so much pleasure too the patients at the weekends with the hospital radio. They also organise charity events throughout the year for lots of local charities.

Last year, they did a record amount of these for all kinds of different charities around the area and we hope to build on this again. EHR runs on a purely voluntary basis and is reliant on fund-raising and donations to survive.
Evesham Hospital Radio volunteers work very hard fundraising to continue giving this valuable service. We are very proud of their achievments without them many people would have a hard time in hospital, instead they are entertained by a very dedicated caring team
Evesham Hospital Radio depends on the volunteers who work tirelessly to broadcast to patients. They give freely of their time to fundraise so that others can benefit. We should all be grateful and proud that there are those out there so dedicated.
Evesham Hospital Radio is run by dedicated volunteers who give up hours of their free time every week to keep patients' spirits up and keep them in touch with what is happening outside the hospital. They provide a friendly voice to elderly people in particular who may not have visitors. The team also puts on Roadshows in the community which is a brilliant way of publicising their work and raising money to keep the service going as well as helping other community groups.I know from personal experience (my mother was a patient on the Willows Ward after suffering a stroke in 2006) that they run the service on a shoestring and there is nothing amateur about it. This is community broadcasting at its best.
Total dedication by the staff to improving life of those unfortunate enough to find themselves in hospital. Also roadshows for the community
