Thanks to companies like yours, CFP has grown (in difficult economic times) into an organisation which will hopefully make a valuable contribution to the UK economy, a good return for our investors and provide a secure place to work for our employees. From a personal perspective I have found you to be very reactive and professional in all our dealings.
I have been using Emslie Bird to look after my accounts for a very long time. I have used other accountants and settled for Emslie Bird because they do good work for a fair price. I have recently had an Inland Revenue enquiry and this is a very scary thing to have happen. Emslie Bird worked very hard to get things put together to answer the Inland Revenue even though the enquiry was not as a result of their work. My experience I believe with a lesser firm could have been a lot more painful but this was handled by Emslie Bird in a very professional manner. They do exactly what they say they are going to do and when they say they are going to do it. Good service from a team of really good people . You will not get better service than I have experienced over the years I have used them.
We opened our 1st depot back in 2001 and appointed Emslie Bird (EB) as our accountants on a recommendation. It turned out to be a very good move indeed. EB have been with us since and grown with our company which now has 8 outlets and a turnover in excess of £3m. They produce monthly management accounts which are invaluable to us in terms of strategy, profitability and cash flow, and giving us much needed credibility with financial institutes which is so valuable in todays economic climate. In addition they also manage our payroll (for 60 staff) and handle all Y/E issues such as filing accounts online, Corporation Tax, personal tax issues etc. They are always professional (no matter how familiar you get with them) and in nine years, I cannot recall an instance where they have 'fouled up'. Everyone is a pleasure to deal with and nothing seems to come as too much effort for them. I would have no hesitation in recommending EB to anyone, whether they were starting up or looking to change from their existing accountant.
