Merstow Green Funeral Home in Evesham receives prestigious award
An Independent, family run firm in Evesham has won a top award.
Golden Charter, Britain’s leading independent funeral plan provider, has awarded Eveshams Merstow Green Funeral Home the West Midlands and North Wales Funeral Planner of the Year Regional Award for its dedication and commitment in providing an outstanding service to the community.
Merstow Green Funeral Home was judged a regional winner from over 1,500 other funeral companies who exclusively offer Golden Charter funeral plans, the largest funeral-planning network in the UK.
On receiving news of the award, Merstow Green Funeral Home’s Funeral Director Philip Tomlins said ‘I am absolutely delighted to receive this award. It is a privilege and an honour for me to serve the local community and in accepting the award I would like to pay tribute to my family and colleagues for their hard work and professionalism”.
Philip and his daughter Laura travelled from Evesham to Brands Hatch in Kent to accept the silver salver and framed certificate from Golden Charter’s Managing Director Ronnie Wayte. In addition to the presentation, the Woodland Trust has dedicated a stand of trees in the firm’s name in recognition of their achievement.
