Are you Flexible or a bit stiff ?- Evesham class has the answer

Many years ago when I was training in Ballet, stretching was very much of the Ballistic  type with jerky movements and sometimes with a teacher using her weight to push you into these stretches. Luckily things have moved on since then but very often the importance of this part of training is pushed a little to the back.

Stretching is frequently used simply to stretch muscles out after a workout but beneficial stretching works on flexibility and increasing the range of movement in a joint. Using a more active form of stretching means that the body heat is maintained and therefore the muscles are warmer and more receptive to stretching. Lack of flexibility restricts movements such as rotating, reaching and bending and can cause alsorts of injuries.

With this in mind I have designed a Stretch and Flexibility class which will run after EASTER at Badsey Remembrance Hall, 5.30pm Tuesdays and St Edwards Hall, Stow on the Wold, 7.30pm Wednesdays, so if you feel you would benefit from less stiffness and more suppleness, come along and give it a try.
