Princess Alice Hospice is a charity which provides all patient care and support free of charge. We give outstanding end of life care to adult patients and support to their families and friends across a large part of Surrey, south west London and Middlesex.
Carer Support Elmbridge provides support to carers across the borough of Elmbridge by face to face contact and via its information line. It assists by being a listening ear, providing advocacy, circulating newsletters, running support and social groups, organising social activities, residential trips and training sessions and by giving practical support such as helping clients to obtain services and to claim benefits.
Nearly 10% of the population of Elmbridge are unpaid carers – currently over 12,000 people living within the borough. Caring for people is particularly demanding and stressful and puts considerable strains on carers' physical, emotional and mental health.
We would like to hear from anyone interested in helping us either by volunteering or by making a donation to help us continue with our vital work.
