Dr Who and the Daleks - give Healthy Heart Advice
To celebrate Valentines Day, The Ashley Centre Epsom is teaming up with the British Heart Foundation for some free healthy heart activities including a visit from Dr Who and the daleks on Saturday 11 February from 10am until 3pm.
Dr Who is unusual as not only is he a time lord, he also has two hearts and knows more than most people the importance of keeping a heart in good shape. The Ashley Centre's David Tennant lookalike (the 10th Doctor) will be joined by two daleks and will be sharing some good advice on heart health with visitors to the Centre.
Children and adults alike can have a go on the Smoothie Bike and by pedaling for about a minute they can generate enough power to make their own delicious and healthy smoothie. This is a great way to a healthy heart as it combines exercise and nutrition in a fun and rewarding way.
The Rainbow Centre will be bringing in some exercise bikes and staff from The Ashley Centre stores will be challenging themselves and having a go to raise money for the British Heart Foundation.
