The Epsom Playhouse team are getting performance ready, excited to welcome back Performers, community hires and audiences, fifteen months after temporary closure due to the ongoing Pandemic.

The much loved theatre is planning to reopen on the 21st June, providing a selection of popular shows for the summer. The official relaunch is due to take place in September.

Along with most local and national theatres, The Epsom Playhouse is eagerly awaiting the Government’s update on Step 4 of the roadmap, hoping to reopen safely at full capacity with a selection of productions from 30th June to 31st July.

The Epsom Playhouse, keen to reassure patrons, have adapted and prepared carefully to allow for business as usual.

Increased ventilation, extra cleaning services pre and post show, regular building fogging and accessible hand sanitizer stations have been introduced for the safety and wellbeing of patrons, performers and staff.

Theatre Manager Elaine Teague adds “The continued loyalty and support for The Epsom Playhouse has been greatly appreciated by the whole team during the last 15 months. It will be fantastic to see our patrons returning in the up-coming months to enjoy all Epsom’s local theatre has to offer”
