Please pass on my thanks to the fitting service and the way they organised things for us. The stairs were particularly difficult but Mark managed it all fantastically well, despite the problems. Now that Milners have fitted or carpeted the whole house for us, it will be sometime before you will see us again, hopefully!
In November 2017, TD said:
A few weeks ago, I phoned you to ask whether anything could be done about the floor in our hall, dining room and sitting room. Earlier in the year, you advised us on the carpeting some of our rooms. An oak floor had been laid two years previously, by someone not connected with Milners. After 12 months it became obvious that there was a problem. The floor started to lift. A few months later it subsided until this summer, when the floor "blew". In one place it had risen so much, it was difficult to walk over it. The person who had laid it had no idea how to remedy it. Milners came to our rescue. After a phone call, a lovely lady came to assess the damage and gave us an estimate. Two of you specialist fitters arrived to do the remedial works. Things turned out to be worse than anticipated. The whole floor had to be taken up. Despite their busy schedule, they found time to do this for us promptly. Despite things being even more difficult than they had anticipated, the job was completed to our total satisfaction. We think they are all wonderful. Many thanks to Ben, Camelia, Alex and Cornell for their hard work. My wife and I are both delighted. The floor looks better than ever. They are all the credit to Milners.
