This is my second rescue dog that i take to The Brooke veterinary clinic and is the only one i would go to as staff have all the time to care for your pet and best advice possible. My last dog had cancer and up until the end she was treated with great respect and care. My next dog is very timid and scared first time we went she did nothing but cry and cry all the time we were there. Now when we go no problem at all, that shows a great example of how they manage to keep dog calm. They also think about owners as well as dog and manages to reassure us as well.
I have been with Brook Veterinary Clinic for a long time. There is no other vet i would go to with my dogs as they not only look after our dogs they look after us also as they know we love our pets and at times too stressed to understand what to do in making sure they are safe and get the help they need. Maeve and all her staff have looked after all my dogs and i only have rescue dogs as well as medical help they also give us practial advise. I hope everyone at the Brook continues for years to come as we cannot do without them.
I have been taking my pets to this practice for over 20 years and I challenge anyone to find as good a practice anywhere in NI and probably further afield. I have postponed leaving Fermanagh on two occasions because I don't want to take my pets from this practice. We are just so lucky to have them here. They never get it wrong and handle the animals with great expertise and sensitivity. I trust them completely in their diagnosis and treatment. I am a very fussy owner because my pets are at the centre of my life yet they are always there to answer any questions I have. They have also treated me so well when I lost 2 pets - one through old age and one from a brain tumour. The facilities are great too - a proper veterinary hospital and blood analysis equipment which can reveal illness in a couple of hours thus saving time in starting treatment. The Veterinary Nurses are great too - one is a brilliant specialist in cats. The receptionist is marvellous. It is well known in the immediate area that if you really care about your pets you take them to Maeve Lunny's place. I have also met people in the waiting room who have travelled over 40 miles with their pets - I'm sure others travel further. They really deserve a top and special award - in fact, I once rang the Royal College of Veterinary Surgeons to see if there was one I could nominate them for but there wasn't. Hopefully they will set one up in the future. Oh, their rates are much more reasonable than some practices I know of elsewhere in NI.
