Having known Joel for around 2 years through BNI it was an obvious referral to pass when my sister began making her wedding. At the time i deliberately held back making any personal recommendations in order for allow her to make her own selection of her preferred photographer.

I was very happy to hear that my sister was very happy with her initial meeting with Joel and had made up her mind quite quickly.

The big day came and even though it seemed to be the hottest day of the year so far, it did not hinder Joel in doing his job to a very high standard. There were even times when he took his life in his own hands by climbing up a ladder in a large crowd of people and lying across the dance floor, all in the name of getting the perfect shot.

He even managed to get some smiles on some family members who i am sure i have never seen smile before and that was without even speaking their language.

We could not have asked for a better professional to help us remember this special day and we will have no hesitation in recommending him to anyone and everyone we meet who is planning a wedding.

We used Joel in October 2006 to have a set of family portraits done at his studio. This included our kids who were 6mths old and 2! Joel was really good with them, and well prepared to act the fool to make them laugh and get his shots!
He makes you feel relaxed, and asks plenty of questions to ensure that you get the pictures that you want.
We had great fun, and the shoot flew by. A few weeks later Joel came to my mother in lawʼs house with his laptop and showed us the photoʼs. I didnʼt realise he had taken so many- and all really good. It was so hard to choose!
My sister in law chose 3 lovely shots and Joel arrnaged for them to be mounted together in a smart frame. We also had trouble getting a nice shot of our 2 yr old alone, so Joel used his digital expertise to ʼextractʼ him from a group photo and make the single photo we wanted- very clever!
All in all, Joel is a lovely guy and a fantastic photographer. I would highly recommend trying his service!
I am using him again at my wedding next month- I know heʼll do us proud yet again!

Joel did some great ʼmugshotsʼ of me for media purposes. I went to his ʼStudioʼ, which is more the size of a film studio, with lots of different sets, including a ʼParisian Cafeʼ. Well worth a visit! Why the name ʼSilent Echo Photographyʼ? Well - Photos are silent but echo through time!
