Riverford....what can you say. They are simply the best. Why would you go anywhere else? In fact "go" is a misnomer, they come to you, rain or shine. I love the fact the box is a surprise (it doesn't have to be that way you can check ahead to see what's coming). It makes you be creative about what you cook. What's not to love. Our local Riverford is run by Francis and Lisa who are so efficient and friendly it is the equivalent of your corner shop in days of old but with a "naughties" feel. Join up, you don't know what you're missing.

After many years of using pre-packaged supermarket food and frozen dinners I slowly became aware of my own disconnect and lack of understanding about where and how my food is produced and comes from. After learning about the amount of pesticide used in modern day farming and the resulting environmental/soil and food contamination I decided to go organic. I chose Riverford on recommendation and have never looked back. The quality of food and level of service from Francis and the team is excellent. You won’t get this level of service from Supermarkets or elsewhere.
Not only do Riverford deliver free, packaging is kept to an absolute minimum and reused wherever possible, Riverford NEVER airfreight so you can feel better about your carbon footprint and it’s cheaper than supermarkets. The weekly newsletter lets you know exactly what’s happening on the farm and with ample food and recipe suggestions – what more can you ask for! I also order their organic meat & diary products when required - so I know my food is always fresh and know exactly where it comes from. By using Riverford I have gained a deeper respect and understanding of using seasonal local food and feel much better for it.

I have been a customer of Riverford Organics for many years now. Their produce is far cheaper than the organic food in the supermarkets and much fresher. My husband is a cancer sufferer which is why we turned to organic, it is so much healthier. Francis delivers our box every Saturday and nothing is too much trouble for him. On the extremely rare occasion I may have a complaint, this is sorted straight away and a replacement given. Top marks for excellent and prompt service, quality of produce and friendliness. I recommended Riverford to both my son and daughter who use them now. I would recommend them to everyone!!

Hi, I'm Churnet Pieters. I discovered Riverford whilst out dropping catalogues (Kleeneze). Even though I use a rival company but was happy to find that they did free delivery and no minimum orders! I gave them a try and have been a regular customer of Riverford since beginning of 2009! I still use the other company because Riverford don't do fish yet but once they move into that market then obviously I will transfer all of my custom to them because the food is always fresh and tasty. If ever I get something I'm not sure of there is always loads of recipe ideas online to help you out. Every now and then they have special offers or my delivery driver (Francis) pops a new item into my box for me to try which I always end up getting regularly!
The only downfall for me is the company don't do fish but like I said the food is always fresh & tasty and the cost is the cheapest I've found. (I'm comparing like with like i.e. other organic delivery companies in London and supermarkets!)

The produce available is consistently lower in price than Supermarket non-organic produce and the quality is very high. I wouldn't hesitate to recommend them. G Cowell
