The Community group has formed the Langney Community Library CIO Charity, which is run by a group of Trustees. The Trustees are extremely grateful to the owners and management of Langney Shopping Centre for the help and support in allowing the use of the unit and assisting with the setting up the library. The charity needs to raise money for all the costs of running a library as well as other premises costs.
Today is an opportunity to officially launch the library and to raise awareness across the community. We are developing a Community Hub in the basement which will be a meeting point for community groups. We have received a good level of interest from local schools. We would welcome your ideas or help in developing the project.
