Helping the Homeless - Eastbourne was set up to assist the local homeless people by asking for specific things needed that week! Surviving the Streets hand over clothing, sleeping bags and backpacks but there is a storage issue.
I know I can’t store very much! So I am planning on helping by putting out a ‘shopping list’ of needs, for people to contact me and agree what are the more relevant items to drop off to me for the coming Wednesday! They MUST be clean already.
Then I use my mobility scooter to take them to Esther (who is the official volunteer for STS) and begin to hand them out! Esther is the other Admin on the Facebook Page to ensure it is as up-to-date as possible.
