Move gently in January

If you are feeling in need of some motivation to move more this month, take a look at our new, virtual exercise class, which is being run by Cat Sullivan, a member of Possability People's staff team who is also a very experienced personal trainer.

Cat has developed a gentle exercise class for people who want to improve their strength and overall balance. While it has been designed for people who may be less mobile, it is definitely suitable for everyone.

The class consists of easy to follow lower body exercises completed in a controlled manner, as well as some gentle upper body exercises too.

Each class is instructed by Cat, who you can see in action with some class examples here.

For anyone worried that it might be too much, rest assured there is no getting on or off the floor. So if you do have limited mobility, it's still for you. All you will need a sturdy chair and a bit of space to complete the exercises. You are advised to wear comfortable clothes and footwear that stops you slipping on the floor.

Classes are running in six week blocks, starting on Tuesday 18 January, from 2 - 4pm. You can find out more, including dates, by going to our Eventbrite page here: Eventbrite page.

The classes are free to attend but donations via our Just Giving page are welcome and will allow us to provide support to people who need it.
