Over the next 30 years, we must decarbonise over 27 million homes in the UK. That means reducing the amount of C02 emitted from those properties by installing insulation, building services and renewable energy systems at a scale and pace never seen before.
This unprecedented challenge will require the retaining of skilled trades and professionals to install domestic green energy solutions and ensure that houses and commercial properties are sufficiently insulated to ensure these new technologies work effectively and efficiently.
Our specialist Training Hub in greener technologies supports local authorities, businesses, construction employers and homeowners to improve insulation and installing green energy products ranging from solar, and micro-wind installations to house-refitting and heat pump technology, in both commercial properties and housing reducing energy consumption.

Water Regulations One Day Course 26 Mar and 18 Apr.
This course is for anyone requiring an understanding of water regulations / water byelaws. In particular, thosewishing to become approved plumbers / contractors. Successful candidates are encouraged to join an approved plumbers / contractor's scheme, such as those managed by SNIPEF, APHC, CIPHE, WIAPS, and the regional water utility companies.
Some independent studying prior to attending will be required.
Candidates will be suppliedwith a manual that consists of 19 Learning Outcomes, an introduction, and a glossary. The very comprehensive course starts with intensive training in the 19 modules, followed by the completion of the assessments. There are no practical elements, all training is theoretical. Candidates must successfulpass all the assessments to gain the BPEC Water Regulations / Byelaws certificate.
