about us
Furniture Now! are a charity aiming to alleviate poverty within the local community by providing low cost quality furniture through donations, recycling and upcycling. All money raised from this already amazing service goes towards providing training and job opportunities for the locally unemployed.
Where are we?
We now have two stores in Eastbourne and an eBay page. One store dedicated to household items on Courtlands Road and one on the Britland Estate focusing on office furniture. You can view our eBay page at www.ebay.co.uk/furniture_now_eb
Furniture Cost of our Household
The cost of our furniture depends greatly on what you are looking for. If you are looking for a project item, that you are happy to give a little love and attention, you can get lots of pieces from under £10!!!
If you want something in perfect nick and ready to go, we have lots of these items available for a slightly higher cost including our beautiful shabby chic range, that has be lovingly restored by our amazing volunteers and learners.
We also offer a 2 tier pricing system that gives those with a low income a discount.
Cost of our Office Furniture
We have large quantities of second-hand, good quality, office furniture available at very discounted prices. Whether it be a small home study or swivel chair, to a full working office suite, we can help.
There are friendly staff and volunteers who are happy to help you measure up and find the pieces needed to suit your work space.
Do Furniture Now! Deliver and Collections?
Our friendly drivers and van staff are happy to deliver to your door and even place the item in your home (subject to accessibility). Our delivery fee starts from just £4.
Furniture now! are happy to come and collect your old household or office furniture FREE of charge at a convenient day and time to you. Just give one of our stores a call and book it in. It really is that simple!

They work tirelessly as a charity to ensure that the under privileged amongst us get all the help they can when in a difficult situation be that help with furniture due to fire or flood devastating their home, making them homeless, help or employment training, interview prep and new interview clothes, hair cut etc to help them get a job, they work closely with lots of other organisations such as Food banks etc to really help their clients get back on their feet and start a new life. Without them Eastbourne and many parts of East Sussex would have a large group of people on the streets in desperate need of help and nowhere to go. They help when no one else will and should be applauded for the tireless work they do 24/7
